You have a job, right?
You’re the news director, you’re the senior editor, you’ve got your desk and your desk is where all the big decisions are made.
But in 2017, I’m the director of digital.
And that’s where the news is.
It’s where you get your ideas, where you’re making decisions, what we call “what’s new.”
I’m like a digital editor.
The only way to have a good newsroom is to be able to do a lot of different things.
But I think a lot more than that.
It really is a big challenge.
So what’s new?
We’ve got a whole bunch of stuff that’s happening.
I think in 2017 it was news about the election, which was the biggest story.
In 2018, it’s all about the Russia probe.
We’re hearing more about cyberattacks and so forth, and a lot about how the federal government is protecting the president and what that means for the future of the presidency.
And we’re seeing a lot that we didn’t even think about in 2017.
So I think the whole year is kind of a sea change in how we’re thinking about the news.
I think that we’ve got this new digital story that’s been going on for quite a while.
It began in 2017 with stories that were not really news at all.
So, the news organizations that were doing traditional news are being asked to do something that they were never asked to be before, which is to put out a report, a story.
And so, we’ve seen the big players get very involved in the reporting and creating stories.
And I think it’s a great opportunity for us to do that, and for us as reporters to help build a story that is really interesting and that’s actually worth telling.
So how do you get people to think about this new kind of news, something that’s new to them?
Well, it can come in two forms.
One is through stories that people are telling friends and family.
And the other, which I think is a bigger opportunity, is through digital, which really is an entirely different form of storytelling.
I want to make sure that I’m in the right place at the right time.
I want to do what I’m doing, and I’m going to do it in the best way possible.
So that I can deliver my product to the people who are going to get it.
So it’s important that I make sure I have a strategy that’s consistent, that I have the best information and I have all the information that I need.
I have a couple of different approaches to digital.
One approach is to have the people we’re interviewing talk about what they were doing when they were at the newspaper or the radio station.
And then, we’ll also have them talk about how they learned about it, and then I will ask them to give me some background information on what that’s like, what it’s like to be in a new industry and so on.
And when you do that kind of story, you have a very different story than what you might have if you had just talked about a new event, a new technology or a new product.
So you’re getting to the audience and the audience is getting to you.
You can get feedback and you can tell your story and you’ll get more eyeballs.
And you can then take that feedback and make a better story.
So you need to be sure you’re in the most of the right places.
And people are going through this new information all the time.
And there are people who want to be there and who will come to you with a story and a question.
But we also have to make it feel like it’s happening to people who have a real interest in this.
And a lot is about the people, the story, and the people.
I don’t think we’re going to see a new digital revolution, and that we’re not going to change as much as some people think, but I do think we need to take more time to really understand how this is going to affect the way we do our job.
And, in the meantime, I think we can do some things that will really help.
And I think that the first step, for me, is to really make sure there are no surprises.
You know, if you’ve been at a place where you know what the rules are, you know that you’re not allowed to do things.
And sometimes, you don’t even know if you can.
And even if you know the rules, sometimes they’re not clear.
And if you don, then you’re just in the wrong place.
I feel like we have to be as clear as possible as to what’s acceptable.
